Executive Pastor - Youth/Music

Nathan was born and raised in a pastor’s home in Harrison, Arkansas. In 2006, Nathan received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education with a vocal emphasis from Baptist Bible College (BBC) in Springfield, Missouri, where he met his wife Sarah. Nathan and Sarah joined the ministry of Winter Haven Baptist Church in June of 2007. They have two daughters: Katie & Hannah. Nathan is currently pursuing a “Preaching and Pastoral Ministry - Master of Theological Studies” degree from Midwestern Theological Seminary, Kansas City, Missouri. In January 2022. it was recommended, and voted on, that Nathan would become the next Lead Pastor of our church, at such time as Pastor Hodges retires.

Nathan and Sarah joined the ministry of Winter Haven Baptist Church in June of 2007. They have two daughters: Katie & Hannah.

Assistant Pastor - Young Families

Tim grew up in a missionary family to England & Ireland and Joni grew up in missionary family to Australia. They met at Bible College and were married on August 19, 2000. They have one daughter, Maddison, and two sons, Ryan and Jonathan. Tim received his Bachelor of Science degree in Missions and Bible in 2001 from Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO. He has served in Adult Teaching, Music, and Awana ministries. Tim and Joni joined the staff of Winter Haven Baptist Church in August of 2014.

Assistant Pastor - Senior Adults

Joe has been preaching the gospel since 1979.  He has pastored four churches; two of which were church plants.  He has been on two staffs and taught at Atlantic Baptist Bible College for ten years as an adjunct professor.  Joe has two Bachelors, a Master of Ministry, and a Doctorate of Theology.

Joe and Judy have been married 45 years and have one daughter Jill.  She is married to Jeff Jones and they are missionaries to the Dominican Republic.  They have three children… Jessica and twin girls… Jamie Jo and Judith Anne. 

 Both Joe and Judy love the Lord, the ministry, and the opportunity to serve the Lord here at Winter Haven Baptist Church.

Staff Evangelist

 Dr. Charles Brown is a Hoosier (Indiana native), saved at the age of 11,  He is a graduate of Tennessee Temple college and seminary and Pensacola Christian College.
   He pastored a Baptist church In Columbus, IN for 21 years.  For 17 years in total he has taught in 3 Bible colleges. Since 2011 he has been Pastor Mark Hodges assistant at the Winter Haven Baptist Church and is currently staff evangelist for the church.
   His 46 years of marriage has produced 5 children and 13 grandchildren, active in their churches. His eldest daughter is a missionary in Australia.
